Beth-haven is on the Pelorus side of the Marlborough Sounds and is easily accessible by road, saving the extra hassle and cost of water taxis. It is located within easy driving distance of Nelson (1¼ hours) Picton (35mins), Blenheim (40mins) and Havelock (10mins)

Getting to Beth-haven from Picton

By car: take the Queen Charlotte Scenic Driveway from Picton for 29km towards Havelock/Nelson. 4km AFTER the Linkwater Service station, and just past the Bone Carver sign, turn LEFT into our driveway at the yellow letterbox and go STRAIGHT UP the concrete drive. A Picnic Reserve is 50m PAST us, where day visitors may like to park.

By bus: The Intercity, Kiwilink, Knightline and Atomic Shuttle buses all run from the Interislander ferry terminal and drop off at Havelock, running regularly throughout the day. Call us from Havelock and we will come and get you free of charge. Contact us first.

Getting to Beth-haven from Blenheim

(quickest route to Havelock)

By car: take Highway 6 in the direction of Nelson. After the Havelock sign, turn RIGHT on to the QUEEN CHARLOTTE SCENIC DRIVEWAY towards Picton, and our gate is nearly 8km from this turn-off. About 1km past Belvue Bay, there is a Picnic Reserve, where day visitors may like to park – or continue on to our yellow letterbox which is 50m on the right, and drive STRAIGHT UP the concrete driveway.

By bus: Similar service as Picton from the Blenheim Railway Station

Getting to Beth-haven from Nelson

By car: Take highway 6 in the direction of Blenheim. AFTER the Havelock Village shops, turn LEFT on to the QUEEN CHARLOTTE scenic driveway and proceed almost 8km following directions coming from Blenheim.

By bus: The Intercity, Kiwilink and Knightline buses all run between Nelson and Blenheim and drop off at Havelock. Call us from Havelock and we will pick you up free of charge.
