Havelock is the green shell mussel capital of the World!
The Mail Boat, fishing charters, mussel and wine tasting cruises, operate out of Havelock marina daily. Excellent sea kayaking guided adventures are throughout the sounds.
Marinas: Havelock – 12 min drive, Picton – 35min, Waikawa – 40min, Nelson – 75min
Queen Charlotte Walking Track: from Anakiwa – 10min – or catch the water taxi from Picton.

Blenheim has guided tours around the local wineries. Nelson is great for shopping!
Local church fellowships meet on Sunday mornings.

After all the activity of the day – relax in the 3 person hot tub – in the bush. We supply spa towels but BYO togs! (Bathers)

Self-catering – Tea and coffee supplied, plus pantry extras for batter, etc. You’ll have the full use of kitchen facilities, including fridge/freezer (so bring a chilli-bin).
Why not eat out for brunch at the local restaurants and wonderful wineries in the area? Maybe bring back a bottle of wine to accompany your evening meal.
The Slip Inn, by the marina, and other good restaurants in Havelock are only 12mins away, or a ‘Meet the Locals’ evening at the Linkwater Country Inn is fun, and is only 4mins down the road – yummy Cod!
